Moses Adriko
Moses J. Adriko is a Solicitor in England and as an Advocate in Uganda. He is a leader in the field of civil litigation, arbitration and intellectual property law. Moses worked in the long-established firm of Kateera & Kagumire [formerly Hunter and Gregg] where he handled both commercial advisory work (including bank security documentation perfection and realization, intellectual property) as well as litigation. Mr. Adriko is a past President of the Uganda Law Society. He holds a bachelor of Law Degree of the University of East Anglia, Norwich, England.


Komakech Henry Kilama

Mr. Komakech is an Advocate of the Courts Judicature in Uganda with special skills in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation and Negotiation amongst others. He has wide experience in Human Rights and Legal Aid providers in India, South Africa and the United Kingdom and has keen interest in Transitional justice mechanisms. He currently works with Komakech-Kilama & Co Advocates in Gulu. Prior to that, he worked for the Legal Aid Project. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Conflict Management and Peace Studies, Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Bachelor’s degree in Laws. Lina Zedriga Waru Abuku.
Mrs. Abuku is a specialist in legal and judicial practice, gender mainstreaming, Rights Based Approaches and is a consultant in conflict sensitive approaches to interventions. She is currently working as the National Coordinator APILU Lina Zedriga Waru Abuku is a lawyer and an expert in “women, peace, and security.Since 2007 she has been the program manager of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 Project, aimed at empowering women for durable peace and reconciliation. “If we had a 1325 National Action Plan, we would take the Juba peace talks by storm,” she insists. In fact, she staged a media and grassroots campaign to get even one woman into the negotiations, leading a four-day march into areas of war and rape, then flying into Juba to deliver a peace torch to the Vice President. In 2005, Ms. Zedriga served as program adviser to Northern Uganda Peace Initiatives, where she designed the Women in Peace Building and Reconciliation program, which included bringing together 300 internally displaced women and other Northern Ugandans to advance peace in the region. Before that, she was associate director of the Center for Conflict Management and Peace Studies at Gulu University, where she coordinated community outreach programs, led research, and helped develop a post-graduate diploma in conflict management and peace studies. She has trained women political candidates in nine districts in Uganda. “Where are the women in offices? We’re still making tea.” She has consulted for UNIFEM, trained police officers to protect victims of rape and sexual assault, and facilitated workshops for the Institute for Security Studies. Ms. Zedriga holds a master’s degree in human rights, Judicial Practice and a Certificate in Peace Building in War-Societies of Africa among others. A law degree, and a certificate of laws from Makerere University. She is a member of numerous professional associations, including the Network of African Peace Builders, the African Judicial Network, and the Uganda Association of Women Lawyers. Ofwono Namakula Angelina Maria.
Ms. Namakula is a dedicated lawywer with speacila interest in international justice. Currently she serves a the head the legal department of Barclya’s Bank Uganda where she also doubles as the company secretary. Prior to that she worked with the Director of Public Prosecutions as a state attoney. She holds a matsers and bachelor’s degree in Laws and a diploma in legal practice. Ms. Sarah Kerwegi.
Ms Kerwegi is an Enrolled Advocate of the High Court of Uganda with interest in International Criminal Law and Justice. She is currently employed on a Nuffic funded project as a Long Term Expert and Project Coordinator. Prior to that she worked with the Directorate of Public Prosecutions as a Senior State Attoney. She holds a Masters degree in Law from Leiden University Netherlands, a Bachelor’s degree in Laws from Makerere University and a Diploma in legal practice.
